HAPPY CHRISTMAS

Happy Christmas to you all and thank you so much for all your support, comments and effort following my blog over the last year. It's a pleasure and joy to know you all. Sorry I haven't been posting so regularly recently - things have been so busy here and the weather is appalling! We're flooded in today, with the lane impassable with a foot of water at least. We hope to get out tomorrow. Until next time, post Christmas I should think, here is Snippet in the snow from last year. xx

  1. Gorgeous photos - both of them! Happy Christmas from a new reader and best wishes as you adapt to the elements. We are promised 31 degrees C and sunny here in Melbourne but it could easily have been 40C like last week - or 17C. Jean

  3. Hope we get some snow this winter, but not TOO much. The weather forecast is terrible so I hope the flooding goes down so you can get out OK.

It was 72 degrees and 2 inches of rain yesterday. Today is 41 degrees and windy. Wish it would find a happy medium!

    1. A happy medium would be great Gail but it never seems to be that way, or perhaps we just don't notice when it is. xx

    1. Last night we had a five hour power cut just after I posted this. I decided it would be a good idea to drink two large Gins and tonic (I don't drink normally) and my head is feeling it this morning. Nothing like a bracing mile and a half walk with the dogs and pony to make it worse. Happy Christmas! xx

    1. Trigger is fine. I get up every morning thinking he'll have blown away, but there he is, waiting for his breakfast, safe and sound. Could have done without the power cat last night for the duration of Jane Eyre but never mind! x

The waters are down below us in the valley but somebody really needs to turn down the gales. I’m terrified.
