Happy Christmas to you all and thank you so much for all your support, comments and effort following my blog over the last year. It's a pleasure and joy to know you all. Sorry I haven't been posting so regularly recently - things have been so busy here and the weather is appalling! We're flooded in today, with the lane impassable with a foot of water at least. We hope to get out tomorrow. Until next time, post Christmas I should think, here is Snippet in the snow from last year. xx
Gorgeous photos - both of them! Happy Christmas from a new reader and best wishes as you adapt to the elements. We are promised 31 degrees C and sunny here in Melbourne but it could easily have been 40C like last week - or 17C. Jean
ReplyDeleteI'll be thinking of you sweltering as we shiver around the fire tomorrow J!
DeleteWishing you a happy and peaceful Christmas, enjoy it all xx
ReplyDeleteThanks and the same to you Kath. xx
DeleteHope we get some snow this winter, but not TOO much. The weather forecast is terrible so I hope the flooding goes down so you can get out OK.
ReplyDeleteHave a lovely Christmas and I'm looking forward to seeing more of your brilliant photos in 2014
Looks like M got out to work this morning okay as he's not back yet! Merry Christmas to you too. x
DeleteAnd Merry Christmas to you too!
ReplyDeleteIt was 72 degrees and 2 inches of rain yesterday. Today is 41 degrees and windy. Wish it would find a happy medium!
A happy medium would be great Gail but it never seems to be that way, or perhaps we just don't notice when it is. xx
DeleteAll the best to you too, for christmas & the new year, Em.
ReplyDeleteThanks Dean - you too. x
DeleteHope the storm left you safe
ReplyDeleteHappy Christmas
And the cheque IS in the post xx
Last night we had a five hour power cut just after I posted this. I decided it would be a good idea to drink two large Gins and tonic (I don't drink normally) and my head is feeling it this morning. Nothing like a bracing mile and a half walk with the dogs and pony to make it worse. Happy Christmas! xx
DeleteI was so happy to find your blog this year (last year?) I have so many writers than is is nice to have a few artist tossed into my blog list
ReplyDeleteHope your weather gets better.

ReplyDeleteHope you are surviving the storm tonight and that Trigger will be OK.
Trigger is fine. I get up every morning thinking he'll have blown away, but there he is, waiting for his breakfast, safe and sound. Could have done without the power cat last night for the duration of Jane Eyre but never mind! x
DeleteMerry Christmas Em
ReplyDeleteYou too SS! xx
DeleteI would have been tempted to deck that little tree in some battery powered LEDs... Happy Christmas, Em.
ReplyDeleteThat was my plan yesterday, but the weather was so bad, I had to dig this unadorned version out of the archives instead. Very annoying. Next year.....x
DeleteHappy Christmas to you all. Hope you manage to get out tomorrow, at the moment it is still blowing a gale here!
ReplyDeleteIt's not raining at the moment! Still blowing a gale though. Keep safe and have a great Christmas Ann. x

DeleteMerry Christmas to you and yours. Does Santa visit your house?

It's barely rained today Sarah....the eye of the storm I'm afraid. I've got a bad feeling about potential Christmas day power cuts! xx

DeleteIt has been lovely meeting you Em, and is always a pleasure to visit and look at all these lovely photos of the Dartmoor I remember so well. I won't be posting until the New Year. It's always such a busy time of the year isn't it? Happy Christmas to you and your family.
ReplyDeleteM & I have so little family that it's rather a quiet time for us. I don't mind at all though; we sleep and eat and go and see friends when we want. Happy Christmas to you and all your family Denise. xx
DeleteI like your lonely Christmas tree.
ReplyDeleteThe waters are down below us in the valley but somebody really needs to turn down the gales. I’m terrified.
Hi Friko, and thanks for visiting. It's calmed down a lot today (Saturday), but I think there's more to come. Just be glad you're not IN the valley!
