Here they are at last. I hope you like them. They can be bought on Etsy at:
https://www.etsy.com/uk/listing/166079145/dartmoor-snow-christmas-cards-10-x-a6?ref=shop_home_active
I'll attempt to put something on the sidebar as well. Thanks so much to all of you who voted; these were the top five designs:
I've been scrubbing about in my neighbour's woods this morning photographing fungi but they'll have to wait till later. I have some sidebar action to get frustrated over when it doesn't work and a couple of commissions to start on - very exciting! You know who you are.....
Until next time, I thought you'd like to see my old cats (both long gone) Martin (grey) and Wiggy (black), to prove I'm not just a dog person - I just know any cat in this house would end up as a light snack. They are in what I used to call the roast chicken position.
Beautiful snowy scenes.
ReplyDeleteI've read in several places now that we're destined for a hard winter. Pretty as it is, I hope they're wrong... again!
Me too. I imagine your slope must be pretty treacherous in the snow, if not impassable!
DeleteHI Em I am trying to get caught up on the posts I have missed over the past week due to my friend Eileen being here. Your cards look lovely. That was quite a brush with the helicopter and sorry one of the dogs went mising for a while. The close upsof the horses are wonderful as are the fungi.
ReplyDeleteThanks Margaret. I'm getting very behind too. Perhaps I'm just a very bad time manager but also I seem to have had a series of unfortunate events the last week or so!
DeleteThe cards are lovely! But you know my heart was won over by the kitties!
ReplyDeleteJane x
I miss them a lot - well, Wiggy anyway; he was a very special cat.
DeleteLove the cards! Such great snow photos!
ReplyDeleteWhat sweet looking kitties!
And thank you for ordering some Gail! x
DeleteAll quite lovely , my fav is number three ~ not that anyone asked , just something about that one really draws me right in to a beautiful winter.
ReplyDeleteWiggy is a very fun cat name actually, was he a bit wiggy ?
Number three got more votes than any other by far. Wiggy as a name is a long story which I might tell one day but it's a little crude....hmmm.
DeleteHow witty you are - the "roast chicken" position! That made me grin, and lovely cats you had. Great choice for the C/cards. Can I pay by Paypal on Etsy? Hope so.
ReplyDeleteYou can indeed, in fact, I'm not sure there's any other way to do it.
DeleteThe roast chicken position used to drive me mad from an aesthetic point of view, but now I look back on pictures of them, it makes me smile too.
The cards are beautiful!!
ReplyDeleteThanks Happyone.
DeleteYour time management is pretty great I think... you just decided to make the card and here they are ready to go.
ReplyDeleteI too am zooming over to your site !
How funny so many loved # 3 and that was not on my 5 picks.
awwwwwwww love your kitties.
cheers, parsnip
It's inexplicable Parsnip!
DeleteLovely puss cats. We still have my Cleo (knocking 15- where did that time go?), although she and Ted are not really friends. Cards look super- well done you. VERY excited about T's portrait. CT x
ReplyDeleteIf we'd got the dog while the cats were still around it would have been fine but even the whiff of a feline sends them crazy!
DeleteGreat images for winter cards, love them all
ReplyDeleteThanks Margarethe....any ideas about the red spider in the last post?
DeleteWell done with the Christmas cards, they look terrific :-) Hopefully I'll purchase a pack or two when I get the time.
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed seeing the cats and Wiggy reminds me of our also departed cat Billy whom died earlier in the summer.
I obviously have a thing about black animals. Chestnut horses but black everything else. Sorry about Billy - they really get under your skin don't they.
DeleteI love three and four. Well I love them all. But I am not sure I am ready for winter...
ReplyDeleteI'm certainly not. I can't believe we're already halfway through October. Time to buy hay soon....
DeleteWhat fabulous images of Dartmoor, Em. You must be thrilled with these. The penultimate image is extraordinarily striking! Lovely to see your cats ... what beautiful feline friends they must have been.
ReplyDeleteI like that one best of the five too.
DeleteLove your photos. Beautiful scenes, especially love the two cats.
ReplyDeleteThey were lovely. Wiggy was my friend and Martin was a friend for him! A bit like Jack really.
DeleteYour Christmas cards are lovely..you really are a very good photographer. I had never thought of cats sitting in the roast chicken position, but you're right, it is just like that!
ReplyDeleteSometimes I used to try and coax them out of the chicken into a more relaxed pose. They didn't thank me for it!
DeleteA lovely selection of cards with some stunning snowy-moor scenes.
ReplyDeleteThey look like two very contented cats!
I hope they were. I miss the lap thing.
DeleteYour cards are really, really lovely and I can't think of anyone who wouldn't want to receive one--But my question would be, which one would I like? :-)
ReplyDeleteI like 4 best in this line up but I do seem to be drawn to the bleak!
DeleteLove the Christmas Card selection - they are all beautiful but the 3rd one is exceptionally stunning :) Will be ordering at least a pack soon.
ReplyDeleteSo glad you like them. Only one sold so far (and they've gone to the USA), so I think you'll be okay!
DeleteThe cards look great Em-well done. Love the cats too!
ReplyDeleteI just hope you like yours!
DeleteLovely cards! As soon as I'm not so poor I shall buy a pack :) Looking forward to your fungi post!
ReplyDeleteYou don't have to but thank you!
DeleteI have left you a message on Etsy, so hopefully you will respond ;). Flippin internet, what is your password it asks every time of me, god only knows says I as I thumb through my listing book which has more info than you can think - higgledy-piggedly of course....
ReplyDeleteI have about five passwords that get switched around regularly so I'm pretty confused now too!
