FIRST FROST

Frost at last and what a beautiful day it's been, despite forecasts to the contrary. Ever since the Met Office moved down the road, they've consistently got it wrong in this area. They really should try looking out of the window sometimes. Here are some frosty pictures from this morning:

It seems that registering your blog with Technorati is worth doing for reasons of exposure, so I'm going to give it a try. I have to mention a code to prove I write this so it can be verified so here it is: BZ4QBK4GKGYM. Sorry to bore you with that! For some reason there's some very strange highlighting going on here which I can't get rid of. Mmm - very professional looking. MORE apologies.

I saw the ponies from a distance this evening when I went to check on Trigger, so I may have some news of them soon. On the other hand, they might have gone again by tomorrow....sigh. Still haven't seen a stallion with them so I can only assume the mares may be having a year off!

Better get off and sort out the fire....thanks to all of you for all your lovely comments and until next time when I intend to have an October giveaway....ooooo.......

  2. Wonderful wonderland photos, Em. Can't believe how cold it must be 'down your way'! Glorious sunshine here ... though it was cold until the sun came out. The 'back-lit' photo of Trigger is stunning. What a show dog! I've been 'with Technorati now for some years ... not sure how it has helped, but it may have brought blog things into the public domain a bit for me.

    1. It was such a palaver to do and it took me months to find my 'feed' whatever the hell that is, so I hope it'll do something....I'm not sure how one would know anyway. Technorati is a funny name too....hmmm.

    1. No - there are far too many foals and so many go for meat as a result, the more responsible owners only put them out for a limited period. I would hate to think of any of the ones we've been following going for steaks!

Every time I try and comment on your foggy post, my computer crashes, but I'll try again later tonight.
